Local Business Schema

Clear business information helps search engines and AI systems understand where a business operates and what it offers. ByTheWeb GEO turns the information you configure in WordPress into structured LocalBusiness and Service data.

You can add one or more Business Locations, with separate details for each location such as business type, physical address, contact information, service area, opening hours, and GPS coordinates. The Fetch from Address tool can help populate the Latitude and Longitude fields from the location address.

ByTheWeb GEO also supports multiple Service entities. Each Service can have its own name, service type, description, URL, and service area, allowing you to describe different services separately instead of limiting the website to a single primary service.

When Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO is active, ByTheWeb GEO preserves the provider’s existing core Schema graph. Business Locations and Services are added by ByTheWeb and, when applicable, connected to the primary entity managed by the active SEO provider instead of creating competing core entities.

Why this matters?

  • Clear Local Business Context: Provide structured information about where your business is located, how customers can contact it, its opening hours, and the areas it serves.
  • Multiple Location Support: Describe separate physical business locations individually instead of forcing all location information into a single LocalBusiness entity.
  • Accurate Business Types: Choose the most appropriate supported Schema.org LocalBusiness type for each location, including more specific business types where applicable.
  • Service Understanding: Add separate Service entities so search engines and AI systems can better understand what your organization provides, not only where it is located.

What’s Include?

  • Multiple Business Locations: Add one or more physical business locations, with separate structured details for each location.
  • Business Type Selection: Choose LocalBusiness or the most accurate supported Schema.org LocalBusiness descendant type for each location.
  • Location Details: Configure physical address, contact information, service area, opening hours, Latitude, and Longitude.
  • Smart GPS Fetching: Use Fetch from Address to help populate the Latitude and Longitude coordinates from a configured address.
  • Multiple Services: Add separate Service entities with their own name, service type, description, URL, and service area.
  • Provider-Aware Schema: When Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO is active, ByTheWeb GEO adds its supported LocalBusiness and Service data while preserving the provider’s existing core Schema graph.

What’s with Credits?

No Credits Required: Defining your local presence and generating this critical local schema is a core structural feature. It is fully functional and requires zero AI generation credits.
