Structured Data & Trust Signals

Company & Person Schema

With ByTheWeb GEO Plugin
ByTheWeb GEO lets you define the primary entity represented by your website as an Organization or Person and add structured details such as name, description, logo, contact information, and official sameAs profile links. When ByTheWeb GEO manages the site’s Schema, it can generate the primary entity as part of its structured data graph. When Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO is active, ByTheWeb GEO preserves the provider’s core primary entity and enriches that existing Schema with supported GEO data instead of creating a competing entity.

Company & Person Schema

Structured data can help search engines and AI systems understand the main entity represented by a website. With ByTheWeb GEO, you can define your site as representing either a Company / Organization or a Person.

The Primary Entity settings let you configure the entity name, a factual description, and official profile URLs used as sameAs references. For an Organization, you can also provide a public email address, phone number, and primary address.

When ByTheWeb GEO manages the site’s core Schema, it creates the applicable Organization or Person entity and can use the WordPress Custom Logo when one is available.

When Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO is active, the external provider keeps ownership of the site’s core primary entity. ByTheWeb GEO enriches that existing supported entity with its configured data instead of creating competing core Schema.

Why this matters?

  • Clear Entity Identity: Define whether the website represents an Organization or a Person and provide structured information about that entity.
  • Consistent Entity Details: Add a clear name and description, together with supported Organization contact details where applicable.
  • Official Profile Connections: Use sameAs references to connect the primary entity with its official profiles and trusted external pages.
  • Provider-Aware Schema: Use ByTheWeb GEO as the primary Schema provider or enrich the supported core entity already managed by Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO.

What’s Include?

  • Entity Selection: Choose whether the website represents a Company / Organization or a Person.
  • Entity Details: Configure the official Entity Name and a short factual Entity Description.
  • Organization Details: For an Organization, add a public email address, phone number, and primary address.
  • Official Profiles: Add official profile URLs that are used as sameAs references, including supported platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X / Twitter, WordPress.org, GitHub, Crunchbase, Google Business Profile, Wikipedia / Wikidata, or another URL.
  • WordPress Custom Logo Support: When ByTheWeb GEO creates the primary entity itself, it can use the site’s WordPress Custom Logo in the generated structured data when one is available.
  • Provider-Aware Schema: When Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO manages the site’s core Schema, ByTheWeb GEO enriches the supported existing primary entity instead of creating a competing one.

What’s with Credits?

No Credits Required: Configuring the Primary Entity, generating the supported Organization or Person structured data, and adding sameAs profile references are local ByTheWeb GEO features and do not require AI credits.
